Full Root-level Access
What is "Full Rool-level Access"? Does it really provide you with complete & full control of a hosting server?
Having root-level access to a server means that you'll be able to view and change any file on it, including crucial system files. You may also set up software which can update certain settings on your server throughout the, so that the installation can be performed only if you are logged in as the root user. The latter has full privileges, i.e. you'll have full control over the machine whenever you want and you'll be able to perform anything you'd like. You can also generate additional users either with identical rights or with fewer rights, based on what you want them for - daily tasks, other server admins, etcetera. To be on the safe side, it's usually recommended to use the root account only when you actually need it and not for tasks that you can do through other accounts. You can use a web-based graphical interface or a Secure Shell console to connect to the server and to control it at the root level.

If you purchase a
VPS servers from our company, you will have full root-level access in three cases - if the server comes with no hosting Control Panel at all, or when you select cPanel or DirectAdmin throughout the order process. In the first case, you will be able to modify each part of the system using a Secure Shell console, while in the second, you'll still be able to use SSH to connect and to make adjustments, still you will also have a graphical interface available to take care of your world wide web content and many of the system settings. The root access makes our virtual server packages a great choice in case you would like to run any kind of software that you are unable to install in an ordinary shared hosting account. With the last Control Panel option - Hepsia, you'll be able to connect via SSH and to control the content on your server, however, the root access privileges are more restricted.

Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Servers
If you choose the cPanel or the DirectAdmin hosting Control Panel, you will have full root access to your new
dedicated server, regardless of which of our plans you'll pick throughout the signup process. Exactly the same is valid if you choose not to use a Control Panel at all. Our servers provide you with the opportunity to run both very resource-demanding apps which are too heavy for a shared hosting account and apps that have certain requirements as to what the software environment on your website hosting server has to be. The latter is something which can't be achieved on a shared machine, due to the fact that no server-side software can be set up on it. The difference between the aforementioned solutions is that without a Control Panel, server management can be done only through a console, whereas if you get cPanel or DirectAdmin, most of the system settings as well as your site content will be managed through a graphical interface. If you pick Hepsia, that is the last Control Panel option on the registration page, you'll get a server with restricted root access.
